I've been completely MIA and my excuses truly suck.

In the time since my last post: I've graduated, started working at Power PR, moved into a new studio apartment in Denton and vacationed in Boulder, CO. Not to mention I've launched myself into full on apartment beautifying for myself and boyfriend and started boot-camping to, you know, better myself.
Although my posts have been non-existent, I've been thinking about posts I'd like to make. That being said I think I'm going to do things a tad different. I'm going Tumblr style on WordPress, and want to try blogging a "favorite" thing everyday in addition to the occasional long post.

Topics and favorite things will vary - all things I love.

But to kick off this week I thought I'd give you an idea of my current interior inspiration.

It's called Hollywood Regency and I love it. To be honest, I didn't know that was the official title till this blog told me - it gives a great write-up of the look. It's been slow going but everything is coming along well, can't wait to share when it's done! Give Decorati a look for more Hollywood Regency, lovely blog going on over there.

Lavender walls came my way yesterday :)

I've spent the last two weeks looking at apartments in Dallas, so naturally all I've been thinking about is decor.  I'm thinking something along the lines of bright, and happy. Loving the vibe of Kate Spade, Tory Burch and JCrew. Can't wait to post pictures after I find it.

Have a great weekend :D
It's been quite awhile since I've written a blog that wasn't required for class. I've been MIA due to my work load. It's that time where all I've been doing is school work and job hunting, which is all very exciting. I'm ready for something new, but I think I always am. Hopefully life will slow down a bit after the beginning of May and I won't have to focus on as much. I'm looking forward to so many things, which is probably why time is moving so fast right now. But I guess that's why time is all moving fast, because there's always something to look forward to. This week I landed my first professional job and I'm so happy. I'm officially studio hunting in Dallas.
Stay tuned, I promise I haven't stopped blogging about nonsense yet.

Just let go.

Spring Break is here and I've spent the last five days in Lubbock with my boyfriend and his family. I had a great time but I'm happy to be back in North Texas to get some projects taken care of. Senior Spring Break is meant to be spent partying on the beach, but I'm completely happy spending it at home.

Look how much my baby has grown!

Monte Carlo cake. The best cake I've ever eaten, and man did I eat it.

Epiphany of the week and continuing.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.
I adore the J.Crew Spring 2011 collection.
It's bright and wonderful, all things that Spring should consist of.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. The weather was amazing.

Velocipede-Steampunk High Wheeled Bicycle $20.

I've been carrying around my Macbook in a vintage North Face backpack, which is basically just over-priced pink canvas. Anyways, it was getting beat to death. So I decided wrapping it in a pair of sweatpants and then putting in the backpack would be better, yes I'm a student.
I think something a little more classy needs to happen here.
If you know me, you know that I like containers. Anything and everything that holds..other things. So naturally I love cases.
Here's a few lovelies for your laptops.
Matt and Nat, Natural Vegan. $95.
